Hypseus

Hypseus (Greek Ὑψεύς ) is a figure from Greek mythology.

Hypseus was a son of the river god Peneus and the Naiad Creusa and the brother of Stilbe. His birth took place in the canyons of the Pindus. He later rose to become the king of the Lapiths of Thessaly. The Naiad Chlidanope he got the daughters Themisto, Astyageia, Alkaia and the nymph Cyrene.
