Hyundai i10

The Hyundai i10 is a subcompact cars of the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai, which was launched in 2008 and since the end of 2013 is available in the second generation. The first-generation i10 is the first Hyundai that is presented and built in India and follows the new name concept that had begun with the i30, 2007. The second generation is manufactured in Turkey. The first generation was introduced as the successor to the Hyundai Atos in New Delhi on November 6, 2007.

Interior

Features

The basic version of Classic comes standard with a CD - MP3 radio with AUX port ( to 2011), a crash-optimized passenger, ABS with brake force distribution and front airbags for driver and front passenger. Motors

As motorization there are two petrol engines and one diesel. For gasoline engines, the revised 1.1 -liter gasoline engine with 49 kW (67 hp) and a maximum torque of 98 Nm from the Atos is employed. Furthermore, there is a 1.1 -liter three-cylinder series common-rail diesel engine with 55 kW (75 hp) and a maximum torque of 155 Nm. With this engine, a top speed of 165 km / h can be achieved. The consumption lies at 4.3 liters per 100 km.

Since October 2008 there is also a newly developed 1.25 -liter gasoline engine with 57 kW ( 78 hp ), which offers significantly better performance with the same fuel consumption. The new engine has 4 valves per cylinder instead of 3, a timing chain instead of a belt, a lighter body and a new engine management system.

At the IAA 2011 Hyundai shows the production version of the i10 electric vehicle Blue On, this has a lithium ion polymer battery with a capacity of 16.4 kWh. He will have a range of 140 kilometers. The electric motor 61 kW / 83 hp and a torque of 210 Newton meters. The performance should reach the manufacturer wants a top speed of 130 km / h and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 13.1 seconds.

Facelift

Hyundai i10 1.2 Style

The second generation was introduced at the IAA 2013 in Frankfurt for the first time before the market launch in November 2013.
