Hyundai Matrix (2001-2005)
The Hyundai Matrix is a built by Korean carmaker Hyundai from spring 2001 to mid-2010 minivan based on the Elantra.
General
In April 2001, the car with the internal abbreviation FC ( Family Concept) was unveiled at the Auto Mobil International in Leipzig. Facelift
2005
In the fall of 2005, the matrix of a facelift has undergone the body and provided with a new honeycomb grille, a revised front bumper and new taillights. 2008
At the Geneva Motor Show in March 2008, again revised version of the matrix was presented.
The front design is now similar to other Hyundai models such as the i10. Air inlet grille and fog lights have been changed, and the level in the side window line is now concealed by a black film. Moreover, the hitherto uneven front wheel arches have been redesigned, larger exterior mirrors and omitted the protective strip on the rear bumper. The petrol engines were not changed, but the diesel now makes 81 kW (110 hp) and has an open particulate filter system.
