The Hyundai Trago (Korean 현대 트라고 ) is a lorry series of Hyundai Motor Company which has been produced since 2006. There you both as truck, dump truck and a tractor. The Trago replaced the Hyundai New Power Truck, but he was on this model based developed. In North America it is marketed by the subsidiary Bering Motors as Bering HD or Bering HDMX. In South Korea it is called in turn as the previous Hyundai New Power Truck. As Tractor and Dump Truck of Trago is replaced from 2013 gradually by the Hyundai Xcient. Model history
Most heavy truck models from Hyundai Hyundai Truck wear a special emblem, the front Trago but a big Hyundai logo and the back the inscription Trago. In its home market of Trago is offered as a New Power Truck in the standard variant Pro with special noise protection technology for inner cities and as the gold standard for the fleet business and with the higher engine variants.
The tractor is with the drive formula 6x2 with 440PS and 6x4 with 380/410/440 hp available. The standard cargo truck or articulated is available in 8x4 formula with 19 or 19.5 tons total weight and as a 10x4 with 25 tons total weight. The tipper always has 8x4 drive configuration with a total weight of 24 or 25.5 tons. In the 25.5 tons variant, the 460 hp engine variant comes ekclusiv used. For all versions from 410 hp is a ZF 16 speed manual transmission. For the 380 hp engine variant ZF 10 -speed gearbox. For the Bering engine variants in North America, optional automatic Allison transmission will be offered.
