Hywel Lloyd

Hywel Lloyd ( born March 14, 1985 in Corwen, Wales ) is a British racing driver. He started from 2008 to 2012 British Formula 3

Career

Lloyd began his motor racing career at the age of six years in motocross. At twelve, he joined the karting and remained active until 2005 in this sport. In 2006 he moved to Formula racing. For starting CF Racing, he immediately became fifth in the BARC Formula Renault. He also took part in several races of the British Formula Renault. In 2007 he won the championship title of the BARC Formula Renault, as well as their winter championship.

2008 Lloyd moved into Formula 3 team CF Racing and competed in the national class of the British Formula 3 Championship. Lloyd decided once the national assessment for themselves and took third place in the national class. In 2009 he was promoted to the championship of the British Formula 3 and drove in some races in the points. The season he finished in 13th place overall. 2010 Lloyd played his third season in the British Formula 3 with a fifth place as best result, he finished 15th in the driver standings. He also participated in two race weekends of the 2010 season of Superleague Formula. He went to for assisted by Reid Motorsport team PSV Eindhoven. His best finish was an eighth place. 2011 saw the launch Lloyd again in the British Formula 3 He joined Sino Vision Racing. With a fifth place as best result he was 16th in the overall standings. With 34 to 5 points he put in this season clearly against his teammates Adderly Fong by. 2012 Lloyd took part in a meeting of the British Formula 3 Championship for CF Racing. He won the rookie standings in each run.
