I'm Glad (English for "I 'm happy " ) is a song by American singer Jennifer Lopez. It was released in 2002 on their third music album This Is Me .. Then, and was released on 1 July 2003 as the third single of the album. The song failed to match the success of its predecessor, reaching only number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 With remixes by Paul Oakenfold, Lawrence Fordyce and Murk the song in the United States became a club hit and reached there in fourth place of the dance Charts. The song Samplet Schoolly D's song P.S.K. What Does It Mean? from the year 1986.

Music Video

The director for music video by David LaChapelle. The choreography by Jeffrey Hornaday was adapted from his work on the film Flashdance in 1983. In the music video Lopez wears a similar outfit as the lead actress Jennifer Beals in the movie who had the life of the worker and dancer Maureen Marder for submission. After the filming of the music video told Lopez that it was one of the most elaborate music videos in her career. The music video was nominated in four categories at the MTV Video Music Awards 2003: "Best Female Music Video", "Best Dance Music Video", "Best Choreography " and " Best Art Direction ".

The imitation of scenes from Flashdance led Maureen Marder in November 2003 to Lopez, Sony Corporation and Paramount Pictures to sue on the grounds that the acquisition of scenes from the film is incompatible with the copyright and unauthorized. There were no court proceedings. In June 2006, the lawsuit was withdrawn WGEN copyright infringement.
