I by day and by night you is a romantic comedy film directed by Ludwig Berger from the year 1932.
Action
Grete working in a manicure salon and lives at the former theater actress wife daphne sublet - at night. For daytime, when Grete works, the room is rented to Hans, the waiter is in a night club and only comes in the morning to sleep. Grete and Hans have never seen before. One day, the two get to know and fall in love without knowing that they share the room. Up to enlightenment and happy ending leads to many confusions.

The music by the composer Werner Richard Heymann. The lyrics to the songs wrote Robert Gilbert. Together they also wrote numerous hits for the popular Comedian Harmonists, who made a guest appearance in the nightclub Casanova in this film. More tracks singing in this musical comedy Willy Fritsch and Käthe von Nagy.
The shooting of this film took place from August to late October in the UFA studios in Babelsberg instead. Exterior shots were filmed in the Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam. The buildings of the film taken by Otto Hunte. The premiere took place on 18 November 1932 at the UFA-Palast in Hamburg. On November 29, 1932, the film had its premiere in Berlin.
