Ian Gordon (ice hockey)

Ian Gordon ( born May 15, 1975 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan ) is a retired German - Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, among others, for the Frankfurt Lions, the SERC Wild Wings and the ERC Ingolstadt. The greatest success of his career was winning the German championship with the Lions in 2004.

Career

After his junior time in the Canadian junior Western Hockey League with the Swift Current Broncos played the 1.78 meters wide left catcher from 1995 to 2000 in the American minor leagues AHL for the Saint John Flames and IHL for the Grand Rapids Griffins and the Cleveland Lumberjacks and the Utah Grizzlies.

For DEL 2000/01 season the goalkeeper moved to the Schwenningen Wild Wings in the German Hockey League.
