Ian Stannard

Ian Stannard ( born May 25, 1987 in Milton Keynes ) is a British track and road racing cyclist.

Ian Stannard 2004 was British champion in the individual time trial of the juniors and also won the time trial at the Commonwealth Youth Championships. The next year he won the Grand Prix Pommeroeul and a stage and the overall at the Tour du Pays de Vaud. In 2007 he won the two -day race Eddie Soens Memorial and Milano - Bussetto and went for the T- Mobile team as a stagiaire. Since 2008 Stannard riding for the Belgian Professional Continental team Landbouwkrediet - Colnago.

On the railway Stannard was 2005 Junior European Champion in the Team Pursuit and won at the World Championships in Vienna the silver medal. The next year he went to the U23 class and won the UIV Cup in Stuttgart and the team pursuit at the European Championships in Athens.
