Iban Mayoz

Iban Mayoz Etxeberria ( born September 30, 1981 in San Sebastián, Spain) is a Basque cyclist.

He began his professional career in 2004 at the Relax - Fuenlabrada. For the 2006 season he moved to the Basque Euskaltel -Euskadi ProTour team. So far Mayoz denied a Grand Tour, the Giro d' Italia 2006. During the 2010 Tour de France he has given up before the 16th stage. In February 2011 Mayoz announced his retirement from professional cycling known because he had found a team for the new season.

He is not to be confused with the more widely known Iban Mayo Diez, who also stood up to the end of the 2006 season at Euskaltel under contract.
