The Ibanag are a people in the Philippines and also the name of of them spoken language.

People

With just over 500,000 people, the Ibanag are one of the largest ethnic minorities in the Philippines. The people living on the island of Luzon, mainly in the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela and Nueva Vizcaya.

The name is composed of "I" for people and " Bannag " for flow. Ibanag may be spelled differently variants are " Ybanag ", " Ybanak " or " Ibanak ".

Language
