Ibercivis

Ibercivis is a research project of the Institute of Complex Systems Biocomputing and Physics ( BIFI ) of the University of Zaragoza in the field of nuclear fusion.

It is the first to BOINC -based project in Spain and was announced in November 2007 at the BOINC forum. About the progress of the ongoing project since June 2008, little information is known.

Project

It covered three different areas:

• Nuclear Fusion Research: With the merger application particle trajectories are calculated in the fusion plasma. The starting point is the fusion research reactor Heliac Flexible TJ- II at the Research CIEMAT (Centro de Investigationes Energeticas, Medio y Ambientales Tecnologicas ). The results will feed into the development of ITER.
• Docking: Application of docking is used for exploration of the docking.
• Materials: The applications materiales32 and materiales64 work in the field of materials, crystal lattice magnetism and development of superconductors.
