Ibi, Spain

Ibi is a Spanish city in the Autonomous Community of Valencia and the province of Alicante. The city is located 37 km north of Alicante on the Costa Blanca. Ibi has 23,634 inhabitants ( 1 January 2013). It is famous for its ' Day of the Innocents '. A custom which lasted there for over 200 years and one hand, a large folk festival includes, on the other hand, serves to collect donations for charitable purposes ( in banks and shops be tax driven ). Conquering the so-called ' rebels ' colorful dressed and with flour, firecrackers, etc. armed the city by issuing the mayor.

Together with the neighboring towns and Onil Castalla forms the center of the Spanish toy industry Ibi.
