Ibigny
Ibigny ( German Ibingen ) is a commune with 99 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Sarrebourg and Canton Réchicourt -le- Château.
Geography
The community is located about 15 miles southwest Ibigny of Sarrebourg near the border of the neighboring department of Meurthe -et -Moselle at an altitude 285-341 m above sea level. The municipality covers 4.77 km ².
The municipality is part of something Ibigny northwest hamlet of Hablutz where a Eselhof is.
History
The village was first mentioned in 1137 as Ibingen.
The village belongs since 1681 to France.
