IBM 386SLC
The IBM 386SLC was a licensed version of the Intel i386SX. IBM revised it and added it to a power management and an 8 kb L1 cache. Thanks to the L1 caches, the 386SLC was faster than a i386DX with the same clock speed, but it was much cheaper.
Of use
The IBM internally designated as a Super Little SLC chip was used in the IBM PS / 2 series 35, 40 and 56 and some IBM ThinkPads, but did not reach a large market share. In addition, they offered him an upgrade CPU for the IBM PS / 2 series 25.
