Ibrahim Hassan Addou

Ibrahim Hassan Addow (also: Addou, somali Ibraahin Xasan Caddoow ) (* in the 20th century; † 3, 2009 in Mogadishu ) was a Somali politician and minister for higher education.

Addow possessed U.S. citizenship, had been living in the U.S. and in administration at the American University in Washington, DC worked, before he returned to Somalia in 1999. A moderate Islamist, he became head of the Department of the Union of Islamic Courts Foreign Ministry. He was the dean of Benadir University in Mogadishu.

Addow died in a suicide attack in Mogadishu during a celebration exams a medical school in a hotel ballroom, with Mohamed Abdullahi Aden Ali Qamar and Waayel.
