Ibrahim Hassan

Ibrahim Hassan Hussein (Arabic إبراهيم حسن, DMG Ibrāhīm Ḥasan; born August 10, 1966 in Cairo ) is a retired Egyptian football player and is a player with more than 100 international matches in his country. Most recently, he played for Al -Masry.

He is one of the players with over 100 caps in the Egyptian national football team, to be exact, with 125 games. He and his twin brother Hossam Hassan played for the most part together in their teams. The two brothers are known in the football world, such as the Ravellis that Laudrup or the de Boers.

Hassan was 21 years in the professional sector worked and played together with his twin brother, among others in the home country of Egypt Al- Ahly Cairo ( twice), Zamalek SC and Al -Masry, Greece PAOK Thessaloniki, in Switzerland in Neuchâtel Xamax and Saudi Arabia at Al Ain Club.

With 40 years ended his career as a professional player and was set at Al -Masry as an assistant coach, where he also finished his career. After he briefly served in 2010 as an assistant coach of Zamalek SC, he returned again in 2012 back to Al -Masry, again as an assistant coach.

National

Hassan completed a total of 125 matches, scoring 12 goals in 17 years. His brother played four years longer for the Egyptian national football team. With the Football World Cup 1990, he contributed a large part to the fact that they reached two draws in the group stage against England and only lost 0-1.

He allowed himself a faux pas with an Algerian referee that he had physically assaulted. After some criticism he therefore ended his national team career.
