Iburi Province
The Iburi Province (Japanese胆 振 国, Iburi no kuni ) was a short historical province of Japan on the island of Hokkaido.
She lay on the surface of the sub-prefecture Iburi, the Yamakoshi -gun in the sub-prefecture Oshima, the Abuta -gun in the sub-prefecture Shiribeshi and the cities of Chitose and Eniwa in the sub-prefecture Ishikari and the village Shimukappu in the sub-prefecture Kamikawa today Hokkaidō Prefecture
History
The province was established along with the other provinces of Hokkaido until August 15, 1869 8 counties. A census 1872 counts 6,251 inhabitants ( Japanese, without the Ainu ). In 1882 the provinces be abolished in Hokkaido Prefecture and introduced the system.

- Muroran -gun (室 兰 郡) dissolved February 1, 1918, when four towns and villages united to form the city of Muroran -ku.
- Yoribetsu -gun (幌 别 郡) dissolved August 1, 1970 was established as a municipality Noboribetsu.
- Shiraoi -gun (白 老 郡)
- Yufutsu -gun (勇 払 郡)
- Chitose -gun (千 歳 郡) dissolved on 11 November 1970, when Eniwa became an independent municipality.
