IC 2602

IC 2602 ( Index Catalogue ) is the name of an open cluster in the constellation keel of the ship. IC 2602 has an apparent magnitude of 1.90 mag and a diameter of 100 minutes of arc. The cluster is also performed under the name "Southern Pleiades ". In the southern hemisphere we can grow easily for IC 2602 to be observed only in the northern hemisphere Pleiades.
