Ice hockey at the 1924 Winter Olympics
The Olympic ice hockey tournament of the Olympic Winter Games in 1924 in Chamonix (France) was the first official ice hockey competition at the Olympic Games. He was at the same time as the second IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. The tournament was held from February 3, 1924 by January 28. Eight teams took part. The tournament started with a preliminary round in two group à four teams. The winners and runners reached, taking with her a direct comparison to the final round, in which then the medals were played. Canada took consider his second Olympic gold medal and the second world title in ice hockey.
