Ice hockey at the 1988 Winter Olympics

The 1988 Winter Olympics were held in Calgary in Canada. The Olympic hockey tournament was held here during the period from February 13 to 28. Twelve teams participated in this tournament.

In addition to host Canada and the other seven teams in the past A World Championships, the top three teams in the B group were eligible. The last station was played in a qualification between the B group and the fourth winner of the C group.
