Ice hockey equipment

In ice hockey, a special protective equipment is required to prevent injury. Here, the equipment of the fielder from the goalkeeper is different ( Goalie ). The club jersey is then carried through the whole equipment. During the game, the equipment must be worn correctly, if not, the referee may impose a two-minute penalty for improper equipment.

Player Equipment

• Helmet without grid with visor ( the players may decide for themselves whether they want to wear a visor ) for players over 18 years. In Germany it is at least to carry obligation in each league half visor.
• Women can only play with grid, everything else is not allowed.

• Mask with grid
• Ruff / throat protector
• Breastplate
• Mitt / glove Stock
• Hockey Girdle
• Shin Guards
• Thermal underwear
• Goalie Sticks / Goalie Stick
• Skates
