Ice Hockey European Championship 1925

The 9th Hockey Championship was held for the second time in Czechoslovakia. The tournament was held from 8 to 11 January 1925.

Venue should first Slavia Hall in Prague to be. But strong thaw prevented a discharge in the Czechoslovak capital. So we moved the tournament unceremoniously in the High Tatras, after Štrbské Pleso and Stary Smokovec, where you, the games fought out on two Natureisseen which can be freely granted by the snow. The tournament was dominated by a very small audience response, and the matches had to be interrupted by necessary snow removal over again.

Only four teams participated in the EM; next host Czechoslovakia, these were the teams from Switzerland, Austria and Belgium. The host easily took the title with which Czechoslovakia is now their fourth (incl. 1912 even fifth ) won the European Championship.
