IceWM

IceWM is a C programmed, standing under LGPL window manager for the X11 windowing system. Goal of IceWM is speed, simplicity ( " simplicity" ) and ease of use ( " not getting in the user 's way" ).

Nevertheless, IceWM provides several applets that allow can be monitored, eg, CPU load and traffic. More applets allow a quick overview of remaining battery life, date / time and the status of the mailbox.

Properties such as keyboard shortcuts and appearance can be changed via settings in text files. Furthermore, the appearance by installing additional themes can be changed.
