Ictineo I

The Ictíneo I was a submarine of the Spanish inventor Narcis Monturiol from Barcelona, ​​which in 1859 appeared for the first time.

The boat was 7 m long, 3.5 m high and 2.5 in diameter. The outer shell had a fish- like shape with an elliptical cross-section of orientated at Brandtaucher, the submarine prototype of Wilhelm Bauer from the year 1851.
