Id reaction

The term Id reaction is deprecated and describes an allergic skin reaction.

This is an antigen -antibody reaction in the course of infection. They usually caused by viruses, bacteria or fungi. The site with the skin appearance may not be the originally infected area. The actual infection can exist in another part of the body or other organ system. Antibodies and antigens can be swept into other areas of the body from there hematogenous (through the blood so ). The Id reaction can take the form erythroderma ( redness of the total body skin with a surface area greater than 90 %) occur.
