The Ida Dehmel Literature Prize GEDOK is awarded every three years for the complete works of a German author. With the naming of the GEDOK - founder Ida Dehmel is honored. The prize is worth 5,000 Euros. An application is not possible. In parallel, a GEDOK Literature Prize is awarded.

The Cologne GEDOK member Marie Rose Fox Steinbüchel, which was also an entrepreneur and writer who contributed to the creation of the price.
