Idées noires

Black Thought ( in the original: Idées noires ) is a series of one-to two-page comics by the Belgian cartoonist André Franquin, he from 1977 for Le Trombone illustré, a supplement of the comic magazine Spirou, created. For some comics written and Others Yvan Delporte and Gotlib the scenarios. In German they appeared in 1983 collected in Volksverlag.

Description

Franquin was primarily known as an illustrator of Funnys as Spirou and Fantasio or Gaston, he shows here by a dark, macabre and black-humored side. In virtually every comic come people who are often responsible for the described situations, to death or are at the end in a hopeless situation. In an extreme usage of black and white he exerts also criticism of the death penalty, pollution and the defense industry.

Franquin has the comics with different signatures that match the theme provided.

For Amnesty International created Franquin Les Combats de Gaston, a comic book page with Gaston, in the style of the black thoughts.
