Idel-Ural

Idel -Ural ( Volga -Ural Tatar for ) is a historical region in Eastern Europe, in Russia today, which includes the territory of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan. In the Tatar language literature the term is used for the area of the six republics of Chuvashia, Mari El, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Mordovia and Udmurtia.
