Name and Logo

" ideo " is the combination form of the word idea, as it is used in words like ideogram or ideology. The company name ( company ) is therefore not an acronym and not a foreign word. Bill Moggridge, a founder of the company, it was, as he flipped through a dictionary.

The name IDEO is pronounced (in English phonology ) "eye -dee- oh".

Originally thought written as mixed, the company is written in capital letters since the design of the first corporate logos Paul Rand (1991).
