Idriz Hošić

Idriz Hosić ( born February 17, 1944 in Prijedor ) is a former Yugoslav football player.

Career

From FK Partizan Belgrade Hosić 1970 came to Germany on 1 FC Kaiserslautern. As the come from OFK Belgrade goalkeeper Bratislav Djordjevic he made his debut on the opening day of the round 1970/71, on August 15, 1970, in the 3:5 away defeat at Hertha BSC under coach Gyula Lorant in the Bundesliga. With 30 minutes played, he scored his first goal in the Bundesliga. In three years, he scored 31 goals for the Palatinate. This stood out especially his heading ability. In the 1973/74 season he played for MSV Duisburg.

For the national team of Yugoslavia, he completed two games, including one at the European Championships 1968 ( 0:2 against Italy ).

After his career in Germany, he returned to his homeland. In Yugoslavia pursued, he was released in 1993 on the initiative of Jürgen Friedrich back to Kaiserslautern. There Hosić trained initially the FCK Portuguese and then the A- and B- youth of the 1st FC Kaiserslautern.
