IEEE 1471 is the abbreviation of ANSI / IEEE 1471-2000 for architectural description of software systems with the title IEEE Recommended Practice for Architectural Description of Software - Intensive Systems.

IEEE 1471 was released on 21 September 2000 by the IEEE -SA Standards Board and adopted as ISO / IEC 42010 on 15 July 2007.
