Ifeanyi Chiejine

Ifeanyichukwu Stephanie Chiejine (* May 17, 1983 Lagos) is a Nigerian football player.

Life

Chiejine was born in Lagos and attended here the Awodi - Ora Secondary School, where she graduated in 2001.

Career

In the club

In her home she began her career in the prestigious Pepsi Football Academy. He then worked in the Nigeria Women Football League ( NWFL ) for the FCT Queens, the Pelican Stars and Bayelsa Queens. There then followed stations in the U.S. at FC Indiana ( on loan from Bayelsa Queens ) in the W- League, KMF Kuopio in Finland and PK -35 Vantaa in the Naisten liiga, and the Russian Supreme Division at Zvezda Perm. Since the summer of 2013, it is in Kazakhstan at the UEFA Women's Champions League hopefuls CSHVSM Almaty under contract.

National

Chiejine was national player for Nigeria and participated in three World Cups in 1999, 2003 and 2007. They also played at the Olympic Summer Games 2000 in Australia and 2008 in China. Chiejine ran on a total of 61 international matches and scored 15 goals.

Others

On 24 June 1999, she scored in the 1:7 defeat to the United States, the fastest own goal in history of the FIFA Women's World Cup and at this World Cup was also the youngest player to ever played a tournament.

On November 8, 2006, she was resuscitated on the pitch following a challenge on the Cameroonian Francine Zouga her. Chiejine lost consciousness and was 10 minutes motionless on the ground while she was resuscitated.
