IG Bauen-Agrar-Umwelt
The IG Bauen- Agrar-Umwelt (IG BAU) with 290,000 members (as of 2013) is the fourth largest single union in the German Trade Union Federation ( DGB). It has its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main. IG BAU was established on 1 January 1996 by the merger of the IG Bau - Minerals (IG BSE) and the union horticulture, agriculture and forestry ( GGLF ), both of which have a long tradition. This dates back to the 19th century.
