Iganga

Location of Iganga in Uganda

Iganga is a town in central Uganda with 45 023 inhabitants. It is the capital of the eponymous district Iganga.

The city is home to the main campus of Busoga University.

Iganga has a small airfield. Trunk road connections are available to Jinja, Kaliro, Busembatia and Busia. In addition, the place has connection to the Uganda Railway, which continues from Mombasa on the Indian Ocean Coming to Kampala.
