Ignace Reiss

In 1937, he broke the face of the Moscow trials with Stalin, expressed his criticism in a reproachful letter to the Central Committee of the Party and declared its accession to Leon Trotsky led the nascent Fourth International. He was kidnapped by order of the Soviet secret service NKVD in Switzerland; in the night of 3 to 4 September 1937, he was murdered near Lausanne. The friend of his agent Gertrud Schildbach had lured him into a trap.
