Igor Bonciucov

Igor Bonciucov ( born March 16, 1973 in Dubăsari ) is a former Moldovan cyclist.

Career

In his first season as a professional in 1996, in which he went to the start for the Italian team Roslotto -ZG Mobili, Igor Bonciucov was able to record an international success for himself when he won the overall title of the Canadian stage race Tour de Beauce in his favor. Still, he could find in the next four years, no team in the pros and therefore went for smaller amateur teams at the start. During this time he won the overall classification of the Tour of Romania and was in the years 1997, 1999 and 2000 respectively as second place in the Moldovan Championship in the time trial and 1998 as second in the road race. In the 2001 season, then took him the Polish team Atlas Ambra under contract and Bonciucov thanked each with a stage win at the Vuelta a Asturias and the Tour of Slovakia as well as winning the Moldavian Championships in the road race. After another year in the pros in the 2003 season for the team Miche Igor Bonciucov ended his professional career.
