Igor Pashkevich

Igor Anatoljevich Paschkewitsch ( born July 1, 1971 in Moscow ) is a Russian former figure skater who competed for the Soviet Union, Russia and Azerbaijan in a single run.

Paschkewitsch 1990 in Colorado Springs Junior World Champion in front of Alexei Urmanow. His biggest success in the seniors was winning the silver medal at the European Championships in 1996. Following this success, he started for Azerbaijan, reaching eighth place in 1997 his best World Cup result. Paschkewitsch participated in two Olympic Games. In 1994 he was starting for Russia 15 and 1998 starting to Azerbaijan, he finished 16th place.

After ending his competitive career Paschkewitsch became a coach. He coached the U.S. American Angela Nikodinov. In the car accident, was killed by the Nikodinovs mother in 2005, he sat in the car. Paschkewitsch is a technical specialist at the ISU.
