Igor Pavlov (athlete)

Igor Vladimirovich Pavlov (Russian Игорь Владимирович Павлов, English transcription Igor Pavlov, . Born July 18, 1979 in Moscow ) is a Russian pole vaulter.

In 2003 he won the silver medal at the Universiade and 2004 gold at the World Indoor Championships in Budapest. He became European Indoor Champion 2005.

At the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, at the World Championships in Helsinki in 2005 and at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka, he reached fourth place respectively. In Osaka, he improved his personal record to 5.81 meters.

Igor Pavlov has a competition weight of 78 kg at a height of 1.87 m.
