Ihrlerstein

Ihrlerstein is a municipality in the Lower Bavarian district of Kelheim and office of the Management Community Ihrlerstein.

Geography

Ihrlerstein lies in the region of Regensburg. The site is immediately adjacent to Kelheim and is north above on the mountain of Kelheim towards Painten.

There are the following districts: Einwald, Neukelheim, forest village. Another village is Sausthal.

History

The territory of the municipality Ihrlerstein belonged to Rentamt Straubing and Kelheim district court of the Electorate of Bavaria. Ihrlerstein was established on January 1, 1935 by merging the municipalities forest village and Neukelheim. The namesake of the municipality is Jacob Ihrler, a quarry owner who was the largest employer in the district of Kelheim in the 19th century.

Population Development

On the territory of the municipality were 1970 2.849, 1987, 3583 and 2004 counted 4,291 residents a year.

Policy

Mayor in May 2008 Joseph Häckl (CDU / CSU / Independent voters ).

In 2011, the municipal tax revenue amounted to € 2,144,550, of which the trade tax revenue € 230,000.

Since 2013, the community Ihrlerstein is debt free.

It was in 1998 according to official statistics in the field of Agriculture and Forestry 55, in manufacturing and 4,202 in trade and transport 644 persons work at the workplace.
