III. Kerületi TUE

III. Kerületi TUE, listed in various German- lists as 3rd District, is a Hungarian football club in the. Óbuda in III District ( kerületi ), is located in the north of Budapest. The club was founded on 24 January 1887. The club colors are blue and white. III. Kerületi TUE plays its home matches at the stadium Hévízi út. The club has been playing the 2004/ 05 season in the third division ( NBIII ).

In the Hungarian Cup of the season 1930/31 final, the team defeated from Óbuda, at that time under the common names until 2003 III. Kerületi TVE, Ferencvárosi TC sensational 4-1.

History

The greatest success in recent times were the two climbs the first division ( NB1) 1996 and 1998. In both cases, the team immediately but increased again.

In 2000, the first combat team was dissolved out of the club and combined with the football section of the Csepel SC. The joint team played the next two years under the name Csepel Csepel Island on the Danube in the south of Budapest. The youth teams remained in Óbuda.

The football section of the Csepel SC was dissolved after the end of the 2001/02 season. With the start of the 2003/ 04 season took the now III. Kerületi TUE club called again the Seniors play operation with many players from previous teams and his own youth and received permission to start the fourth league.

The crew survived the season undefeated and went immediately to the third tier, NBIII on where the club is to be found to this day (2007/ 08).
