The rural community Iisaku ( Isaaku vald ) is located in Ida- Viru county in northeastern Estonia.

Description

The rural municipality has an area of 258 km ². Live in it has 1526 inhabitants ( 1 January 2004).

The rural community Iisaku located in the south of the County Ida -Viru, about 85 km from the city of Rakvere. It borders Lake Peipus.

The unspoiled nature is perfect for hiking and cycling.

Villages

In addition to the main town Iisaku for rural community includes the villages Alliku, Imatu, Jõuga, Kasevälja, Kauksi Koldamäe, Kuru, Lipniku, Lope, Pootsiku, Sõrumäe, Sälliku, Taga- Roostoja, Tammetaguse, Tärivere, Vaikla and Varesmetsa.
