Il Sole 24 Ore (Italian for The Sun 24 hours), is one of the most widely read business dailies in Italy.
Il Sole 24 Ore went in 1965 from the merger of the two newspapers Il Sole (1865 based) and 24 Ore ( Founded in 1946 ) shows. By maintaining the old locations it has two main editorial offices, one in Milan and one in Rome. Other editors are located in Naples, Turin, Florence, Bologna, Genoa, Trieste, Padua, Palermo and Bari. From January 2005 to early 2011 was Ferruccio De Bortoli Director of Il Sole 24 Ore, 23 March 2011 Roberto Napoletano became his successor. The newspaper is part of Confindustria, the largest Italian employers' organization.
