Ilava

Ilava ( Illau German, Hungarian Illava ) is a city in the north-west Slovakia.

The city was first mentioned in 1229 and it includes the vilage Ilava, Iliavka (1971 amalgamated ) and Klobušice (1971 amalgamated ).

It is known mainly built on a former castle fortress Illau.
