Ildo Maneiro

Ildo Enrique Maneiro Ghezzi (* August 4, 1947 in Mercedes, Uruguay) is an Uruguayan football coach and former football player.

Playing career

Club career

The midfielder began his career in 1965 at Nacional Montevideo. There he played until he moved to France to Lyon in 1973. During this time he won five times (1966, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972), the Uruguayan championship with the Bolsos. During this time he was also appointed to the Uruguayan squad for the World Cup in 1970 and took part in the Copa América 1979.

Coaching career

Maneiro worked as a coach at various club teams. His greatest achievement was winning the case Uruguayan championship with Danubio in 1988.
