Ilya Vladimirovich Zymbalar, Russian Илья Владимирович Цымбаларь, ( born June 17, 1969 in Odessa, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union, † December 28, 2013 ) was a Ukrainian and Russian football player and coach.

Zymbalar played since his youth for Chernomorets Odessa and won with this team in 1992 This year, for the first time discharged Ukrainian Cup competition. At the beginning of the season 1993/94 he moved to Russia to Spartak Moscow. With Spartak midfielder won the Russian Championship six times and twice the Russian Cup. In 1995 he was elected Footballer of the Year in Russia. In 2000, he played one season for Lokomotiv Moscow and also won the Russian Cup with this team. His active career, he ended 2002 Anzhi Makhachkala.

Although Zymbalar had already played three matches for the Ukrainian national team in 1992, he still came between 1994 and 1999 to 28 appearances for the Russian national football team. He participated in the Soccer World Cup 1994 and Euro 1996 in England for Russia.

Zymbalar supervised between 2004 and 2006 the FK Khimki as assistant coach and later the FK Nizhny Novgorod and Yaroslavl Schinnik as head coach.

He died on December 28, 2013 at the age of 44 years, probably due to a heart attack.
