Imata Kabua

Imata Jabro Kabua (* 1943) is a politician of the Marshall Islands. He comes from the Kwajalein Atoll. From 1997 to 2000 he was the second president of the archipelago.

Kabua was determined after the death of his cousin Amata Kabua by Parliament as his successor. At his office, he explained the reduction of external debt the priority of its policy.

After the election of a new Parliament in November 1999 Kessai Note was elected his successor. The handover took place on 10 January 2000.
