imc FAMOS

Imc FAMOS is a graphical analysis program for analyzing, assessing and visualizing measurement results. The program, whose name is an acronym for Fast Analysis And Monitoring Of signal, was brought in 1987 by the German manufacturer imc measurement systems GmbH (integrated measurement & control) in Berlin for Windows 2:11 on the market. According to the manufacturer FAMOS offers high speed in the presentation and processing of arbitrarily large datasets.

Import various data formats

FAMOS can import data in various formats, such as Excel, binary, ASCII or Matlab files. With a File Wizard is also possible to generate one's own import. This data can then be presented in different ways graphically labeled, combined and processed. FAMOS can store data in its own proprietary format in ASCII format or as an Excel file.

Data Analysis

Imported data can be processed with various mathematical methods, either manually or in automatic processes. FAMOS offers additional modules for special operations such as electronic filters, spectral analysis and presentation of data and synchronized video sequences and for the ASAM ODS data model. Also data on the PC sound card can be made audible.

Documentation

FAMOS allows the creation of documentation / reports on the so-called " report generator ", which is on the screen from various dialogue elements and plots, as well as graphics with controls, which can be automatically hidden when printing. The reports generated can be reused with different input data, also there are templates for semi-and fully automatic generation of reports.
