Immortal Woman He

He Xiangu (Chinese何仙姑, Pinyin Hé Xiangu, W.-G. Ho Hsien Ku, and He Xian Gu ), is a famous Taoist immortals in Chinese mythology. It belongs to the group of the Eight Immortals (Ba xian ).

He Xiangu was the only woman among the Ba xian. She was immortal because of their generosity and their strict asceticism.

She is depicted as a woman with lotus flower or basket of flowers and a peach, a symbol of immortality and longevity, as well as a sheng mouth organ.
