Immune Epitope Database and Analysis Resource

The Immune Epitope Database is a database for published epitopes of T cells and B cells as well as binding properties of antigens to MHC complexes.

It is operated by the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology ( LIAI ) in California and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases ( NIAID), National Institutes of Health (NIH ) and the United States Department of Health and Human Services ( HHS) financed. The database is a merging of the databases FIMM ( Brusic ), HLA ligand ( Hildebrand ), TopBank ( Sette ), and MHC binding ( Buus ).

The focus is on the newly defined by the NIAID and recurrent pathogens as well as in security-related pathogens. In addition, programs for the analysis of epitopes and prediction of MHC binding offered on the page.
